More AAU analysis coming at you quick, once again from the Connecticut Basketball Club. New team to talk about in this article, the New Fairfield HGSL squad that has quite a few impressive names on the roster, all of which we will discuss below.

Emily Mennillo Emily Mennillo 5'7" | PG Sacred Heart Academy | 2025 State New E – Sacred Heart Academy (2025)

We start off with a rising senior in Emily Mennillo Emily Mennillo 5'7" | PG Sacred Heart Academy | 2025 State New E , a standout for SHA over the past several seasons and someone who plays and looks like a seasoned veteran. Great demeanor on the floor, a player who plays until the whistle and just about does it all on the floor. Very balanced offensive package, from inside to outside. She’s speedy and will break out for a quick basket. Strong on her finishes too when closer to the basket.

Jaidelis Rivera – New London (2027)

Rivera is a guard with plenty of intangibles and significant room to grow and develop. She’s already shown herself to be quite the asset for New London, a more than capable scorer with sneaky rebounding instincts and overall a great feel for the game. She benefits from being a smaller guard to have that breakaway speed on a fast break. Shifty defender as well who does a great job at creating turnovers.

Nina Nardecchia – Amity Regional (2026)

Nardecchia was arguably the leader for Amity Regional this past season, one of the best scorers in the state and a consistent scorer at that. She came up big quite a few times in the postseason and showcased a lot of growth at the same time. Incredible perimeter shooter, quick release, easy motion, flawless release. She can turn things up in an instant and has been that difference-maker kind of player many times as a sophom*ore.

Angelina McKenna – Hamden Hall (2025)

McKenna provides a bit of everything on the floor. Good off-ball movement to get open for shots. Great mobility and agility as a player. Quick release on her shot which has benefitted her perimeter shooting tremendously. Able to create on her own or excel in catch-and-shoot situations. McKenna is someone that often gets her teammates involved, a team player overall and team leader.

Nyarah Dudley – New London (2026)

Fits into the mold of a perimeter shooter, one who can light it up from just about anywhere on the floor. New London has often used her in the shooting guard role, but she’s provided so much more, especially from her speed. That’s made her often the center of attention for fast break opportunities. Impressive defensive resumef from her too, a fearless defender that isn’t afraid to show some physicality.

Emily Arel – Gilbert School (2025)

In less than two years at the Gilbert School, Arel reached the 1000 point mark, and that’s not by accident either. When you watch her, you’re watching one of the best pure scorers in Connecticut and she’s just the person that any program would want running the point. Incredibly well-rounded player, able to do so much on the floor. Knows when and where to turn the dial up and plays with such a high level of maturity.

Sam Battle Sam Battle 5'10" Miss Porter's School | 2025 New E – Miss Porter’s (2025)

Perimeter shooting and defense. Sam Battle Sam Battle 5'10" Miss Porter's School | 2025 New E excels in both places incredibly well and has proven to be a veteran leader already for her high school program. Just this past season, we saw Battle knocking down 4, 5, 6 threes a game for Miss Porter’s, knokcing it down like it’s nothing. Sweet release, unguardable to an extent. When she’s feeling it, no one can stop her. Impressive shooter still with room to grow.

Mia McCauliffe-Grant – Greenwich Country Day (2026)

McCauliffe-Grant brings in the forward to the conversation after we’ve talked so much earlier about guards on this AAU roster. Now, time to talk about the frontcourt, and she’s certainly a great place to start, a big body, long wingspan and strong presence down low. Double-double machine for Greenwich Country Day and that wingspan plays big into her shot-blocking ability. Just a natural rim protector and dominant force on the glass.

Serenity Lancaster Serenity Lancaster 6'1" | PF New London | 2025 State New E – New London (2025)

Another forward on this list, Lancaster has size to her advantage standing over six feet tall. She’s shown great mobility and game recognition in the paint and has strong court/game awareness. Has done an excellent job at adapting to changed-in game and plays selflessly. Great reach, has her feet under her for her size. Soft touch around the rim. She’ll go after rebounds, loose balls, deflected passes, anything like that.

Jadamarie Henry – Sacred Heart Greenwich (2025)

Our final frontcourt prospect to talk about in this article is Henry, a player that’s excelled greatly in that position despite being slightly undersized for a forward. As we talked about with Lancaster and McCauliffe-Grant, Henry has a great feel around the rim and in the paint. Strong, physical talent that goes up for rebounds, goes up for tough shots and draws contact. Plenty of intangibles with Henry and room to grow.
