Hadith No: 693
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 46, Partnerships
Narrated/Authority of Ibn Abbas

The Prophet (SAW) (along with his companions) reached Makkah in the morning of the fourth of Dhul-Hijja assuming Ihram for Hajj only. So when we arrived at Makkah, the Prophet (SAW) ordered us to change our intentions of the Ihram for'Umra and that we could finish our Ihram after performing the 'Umra and could go to our wives (for sexual intercourse). The people began talking about that. Jabir said surprisingly, "Shall we go to Mina while sem*n is dribbling from our male organs?" Jabir moved his hand while saying so. When this news reached the Prophet (SAW) he delivered a sermon and said, "I have been informed that some peoples were saying so and so; By Allah I fear Allah more than you do, and am more obedient to Him than you. If I had known what I know now, I would not have brought the Hadi (sacrifice) with me and had the Hadi not been with me, I would have finished the Ihram." At that Suraqa bin Malik stood up and asked "O Allah's Apostle (SAW)! Is this permission for us only or is it forever?" The Prophet (SAW) replied, "It is forever." In the meantime Ali bin Abu Talib came from Yemen and was saying Labbaik for what the Prophet (SAW) has intended. (According to another man, Ali was saying Labbaik for Hajj similar to Allah's Apostle (SAW)'s). The Prophet (SAW) told him to keep on the Ihram and let him share the Hadi with him.

Hadith No: 143
From: Sahih Bukhari. Chapter 17, Invoking Allah for Rain (Istisqaa)
Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik

In the life-time of Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) the people were afflicted with a (famine) year. While the Prophet was delivering the Khutba (sermon) on the pulpit on a Friday, a Bedouin stood up and said, "O Allah's Apostle! The livestock are dying and the families (offspring) are hungry: please pray to Allah to bless us with rain." Allah's Apostle raised both his hands towards the sky and at that time there was not a trace of cloud in they sky. Then the clouds started gathering like mountains. Before he got down from the pulpit I saw rain-water trickling down his beard. It rained that day, the next day, the third day, the fourth day and till the next Friday, when the same Bedouin or some other person stood up (during the Friday Khutba) and said, "O Allah's Apostle! The houses have collapsed and the livestock are drowned. Please invoke Allah for us." So Allah's Apostle raised both his hands and said, "O Allah! Around us and not on us." Whichever side the Prophet directed his hand, the clouds dispersed from there till a hole (in the clouds) was formed over Medina. The valley of Qanat remained flowing (with water) for one month and none, came from outside who didn't talk about the abundant rain.

Hadith No: 5
From: Imam Malik's Muwatta. Chapter 32, Qirad
Narrated/Authority of

Yahya said that Malik spoke about an investor who made a qirad loan and stipulated to the agent that only certain goods should be bought with his money or he forbade certain goods which he named to be bought. He said, "There is no harm in an investor making a condition on an agent in qirad not to buy a certain kind of animal or goods which he specifies. It is disapproved of for an investor to make as a condition on an agent in qirad that he only buy certain goods unless the goods which he orders him to buy are in plentiful supply and do not fail either in winter or summer. There is no harm in that case."Malik spoke about an investor who loaned qirad money and stipulated that something of the profit should be his alone without the agent sharing in it. He said, "That is not good, even if it is only one dirham unless he stipulates that half the profit is his and half the profit is the agent's or a third or a fourth or whatever. When he names a percentage, whether great or small, everything specified by that is halal. This is the qirad of the muslims."He said, "It is also not good if the investor stipulates that one dirham or more of the profit is purely his, with out the agent sharing it and then what remains of the profit is to be divided in half between them. That is not the qirad of the Muslims."

The Prophet said, "O Allah! Be merciful to those who have their head shaved." The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! And those who get their hair cut short." The Prophet said (the third time), "And to those who get their hair cut short." Nafi said that the Prophet had said once or twice, "O Allah! Be merciful to those who get their head shaved," and on the fourth time he added, "And to those who have their hair cut short."

Hadith No: 38
From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Said Al-Khudri

that the Prophet (SAW) said: Allah (SWT) will call: 0 Adam! He will say: I respond to Your Call; I am obedient of Your Orders; and goodness rests in Your Hand. Allah will say: Bring forth the group for Hell. Adam will ask: Who are thepeople doomed to Hell? Allah will say: They are nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every one thousand. The Prophet (SAW) said: At this juncture every child would tum grey-haired and every pregnant would miscarry due to the dread of the moment and you would see people as drunk while they would not actually be. The torment of Allah would be grievous enough to make them so. Thenthe Companions asked: 0 Allah"s. Messenger (PBUH) Who would be that single person among us? He said: Be happy! When one is selected (for Paradise) from amongyou, one thousand from Gog and Magog would be sent to Hell. Then he said: By Him in Whose Hand is my soul! I hope you will constitute one-fourth of the inhabitants of Paradise. We exclaimed (Allah is All-Great) He said:I anticipate you would be one-third of the people of Paradise. Again we shouted Allahu Akbar He said: I expect you would be half of the people of Paradise. Again we exclaimed Allahu Akbar He further said: Despite, You would be just like a black hair in the skin of a white ox or like a white hair in the skin of a black one (i.e. your number compared with the non-Muslims will be very small but in Paradise you will be the majority).(This Hadith is sound and reported by Bukhari andMuslim).

Hadith No: 430
From: Sahih Muslim. Chapter 1, Faith (Kitab Al Iman)
Narrated/Authority of Abu Said

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Allah, the High and Glorious, would say: O Adam I and he would say: At Thy service, at thy beck and call, O Lord, and the good is in Thy Hand. Allah would say: Bring forth the group of (the denizens of) Fire. He (Adam) would say: Who are the denizens of Hell? It would be said: They are out of every thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine. He (the Holy Prophet) said: It is at this juncture that every child would become white-haired and every pregnant woman would abort and you would see people in a state of intoxication, and they would not be in fact intoxicated but grievous will be the torment of Allah. He (the narrator) said: This had a very depressing effect upon them (upon the companions of the Holy Prophet) and they said: Messenger of Allah, who amongst us would be (that unfortunate) person (who would be doomed to Hell)? He said: Good tidings for you, Yajuj Majuj would be those thousands (who would be the denizens of Hell) and a person (selected for Paradise) would be amongst you. He (the narrator) further reported that he (the Messenger of Allah) again said: By Him in Whose Hand is thy life, I hope that you would constitute one-fourth of the inhabitants of Paradise. We extolled Allah and we glorified (Him). He (the Holy Prophet) again said: BY Him in Whose Hand is my life, I wish you would constitute one-third of the inhabitants of Paradise. We extolled Allah and Glorified (Him). He (the Holy Prophet) again said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, I hope that you would constitute half of the inhabitants of Paradise. Your likeness among the people is the likeness of a white hair on the skin of a black ox or a strip on the foreleg of an ass.

Hadith No: 1
From: Imam Malik's Muwatta. Chapter 38, Setting Free and Wala
Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Umar

Malik related to me from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If a man frees his share of a slave and has enough money to cover the full price of the slave justly evaluated for him, he must buy out his partners so that the slave is completely freed. If he doesn't have the money, he partially frees him.Malik said, "The generally agreed-on way of doing things among us in the case of slave whose master makes a bequest to free part of him - a third, a fourth, a half, or any share after his death, is that only the portion of him is freed that his master has named. This is because the freeing of that portion is only obliged to take place after the death of the master because the master has the option to withdraw the bequest as long as he lives. When the slave is freed from his master, the master is a testator and the testator only has access to free what he can take from his property, being the third of the property he is allowed to bequeath, and the rest of the slave is not free because the man's property has gone out of his hands. How can the rest of the slave which belongs to other people be free when they did not initiate the setting free and did not confirm it and they do not have the wala' established for them? Only the deceased could do that. He was the one who freed him and the one for whom the wala' was confirmed. That is not to be borne by another's property unless he bequeaths within the third of his property what remains of a lave to be freed. That is a request against his partners and inheritors and the partners must not refuse the slave that when it is within the third of the dead man's property because there is no harm in that to the inheritors."Malik said, "If a man frees a third of his slave while he is critically ill, he must complete the emancipation so all of him is free from him, if it is within the third of his property that he has access to, because he is not treated in the same way as a man who frees a third of a slave after his death, because had the one who freed a third of his slave after his death lived, he could have cancelled it and the slave's being set free would be of no effect. The master who made the freeing of the third of the slave irrevocable in his illness, would still have to free all of him if he lived. If he died, the slave would be set free within the third of the bequest. That is because the command of the deceased is permissible in his third as the command of the healthy is permissible in all his property."

Hadith No: 451
From: Sunan An-Nasai. Chapter 5, The Book of Salah
Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik

that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "I was brought an animal that was larger than a donkey and smaller than a mule, whose stride could reach as far as it could see. I mounted it, and Jibril was with me, and I set off. Then he said: 'Dismount and pray,' so I did that. He said: 'Do you know where you have prayed? You have prayed in Taibah, which will be the place of the emigration.' Then he said: 'Dismount and pray,' so I prayed. He said: 'Do you know where you have prayed? You have prayed in Mount Sinai, where Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, spoke to Musa, peace be upon him.' Then he said: 'Dismount and pray.' So I dismounted and prayed, and he said: 'Do you know where you have prayed? You have prayed in Bethlehem, where 'Eisa, peace be upon him, was born.' Then I entered Bait Al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) where the Prophets, peace be upon them, were assembled for me, and Jibrail brought me forward to lead them in prayer. Then I was taken up to the first heaven, where I saw Adam, peace be upon him. Then I was taken up to the second heaven where I saw the maternal cousins 'Eisa and Yahya, peace be upon them. Then I was taken up to the third heaven where I saw Yusuf, peace be upon him. Then I was taken up to the fourth heaven where I saw Harun, peace be upon him. Then I was taken up to the fifth heaven where I saw Eidris, peace be upon him. Then I was taken up to the sixth heaven where I saw Musa, peace be upon him. Then I was taken up to the seventh heaven where I saw Ibrahim, peace be upon him. Then I was taken up above the seven heavens and we came to Sidrah Al-Muntaha and I was covered with fog. I fell down prostrate and it was said to me: '(Indeed) The day I created the heavens and the Earth, I enjoined upon you and your Ummah fifty prayers, so establish them, you and your Ummah.' I came back to Ibrahim and he did not ask me about anything, then I came to Musa and he said: 'How much did your Lord enjoin upon you and your Ummah?' I said: 'Fifty prayers.' He said: 'You will not be able to establish them, neither you nor your Ummah. Go back to your Lord and ask Him to reduce it.' So I went back to my Lord and He reduced by ten. Then I came to Musa and he told me to go back, so I went back and He reduced it by ten. Then I came back to Musa and he told me to go back, so I went back and He reduced it by ten. Then it was reduced to five prayers. He (Musa) said: 'Go back to your Lord and ask Him to reduce it, for two prayers were enjoined upon the Children of Israel but they did not establish them.' So I went back to my Lord and asked Him to reduce it, but He said: 'The day I created the heavens and the Earth, I enjoined fifty prayers upon you and your Ummah. Five is for fifty, so establish them, you and your Ummah.' I knew that this was what Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, had determined so I went back to Musa, peace be upon him, and he said: 'Go back.' But I knew that it was what Allah had determined, so I did not go back." (Hasan)

Hadith No: 36
From: 40 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 40 Hadith Qudsi
Narrated/Authority of Anas

from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said:"The believers will gather together on the Day of Resurrection and will say: 'Should we not ask [someone] to intercede for us with our Lord?' So they will come to Adam and will say: 'You are the Father of mankind; Allah created you with His Hand, He made His angels bow down to you, and He taught you the names of everything, so intercede for us with your Lord so that He may give us relief from this place where we are.' And he will say: 'I am not in a position [to do that]' - and he will mention his wrongdoing and will feel ashamed and will say: 'Go to Noah, for he is the first messenger that Allah sent to the inhabitants of the earth.' So they will come to him and he will say: 'I am not in a position [to do that]' - and he will mention his having requested something of his Lord about which he had no [proper] knowledge (Qur'an Chapter 11 Verses 45-46), and he will feel ashamed and will say: 'Go to the Friend of the Merciful (Abraham).' So they will come to him and he will say: 'I am not in a position [to do that]. Go to Moses, a servant to whom Allah talked and to whom He gave the Torah.' So they will come to him and he will say: 'I am not in a position [to do that]' - and he will mention the talking of a life other than for a life (Qur'an Chapter 28 Verses 15-16), and he will feel ashamed in the sight of his Lord and will say: 'Go to Jesus, Allah's servant and messenger, Allah's word and spirit.' So they will come to him and he will say: 'I am not in a position [to do that]. Go to Muhammad (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), a servant to whom Allah has forgiven all his wrongdoing, past and future.' So they will come to me and I shall set forth to ask permission to come to my Lord, and permission will be given, and when I shall see my Lord I shall prostrate myself. He will leave me thus for such time as it pleases Him, and then it will be said [to me]: 'Raise your head. Ask and it will be granted. Speak and it will be heard. Intercede and your intercession will be accepted.' So I shall raise my head and praise Him with a form of praise that He will teach me. Then I shall intercede and He will set me a limit [as to the number of people], so I shall admit them into Paradise. Then I shall return to Him, and when I shall see my Lord [I shall bow down] as before. Then I shall intercede and He will set me a limit [as to the number of people]. So I shall admit them into Paradise. Then I shall return for a third time, then a fourth, and I shall say: 'There remains in Hell-fire only those whom the Qur'an has confined and who must be there for eternity.' There shall come out of Hell-fire he who has said: 'There is no god but Allah' and who has in his heart goodness weighing a barley-corn; then there shall come out of Hell-fire he who has said: 'There is no god but Allah' and who has in his heart goodness weighing a grain of wheat; then there shall come out of Hell-fire he who has said: 'There is no god but Allah' and who has in his heart goodness weighing an atom.It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim, at-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah).

Hadith No: 4312
From: Sunan Ibn Majah. Chapter 40, The Chapters on Ascetism (Zuhd)
Narrated/Authority of Anas bin Malik

that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "The believers will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection, inspired or worried." - Saeed was not sure - "And they will say: If we seek someone to intercede for us with our Lord, we may find relief from our situation. So they will go to Adam and will say: You are Adam, the father of mankind. Allah created you with His Hand and His angels prostrated to you. Intercede for us with your Lord, that He might grant us relief from our situation. He will say: I am not the one, and he will mention to them and complain of the sin that he committed. He will feel too shy to do that (and will say): Rather go to Nuh, for he is the first Messenger whom Allah sent to the people of earth. So they will go to him, but he will say: I am not the one, and he will mention of how he asked of Allah that of which he had no knowledge.* He will feel too shy to do that (and will say): Rather go to the Close Friend of the Most Merciful, Ibrahim. So they will go to him and he will say: I am not the one. Rather go to Musa, a slave to whom Allah spoke and to whom He gave the Torah. So they will go to him and he will say: I am not the one, and he will mention how he killed a soul, not in retaliation for murder (and will say): Rather go to Isa, the slave of Allah and His Messenger, the Word of Allah and a spirit created by Him. So they will go to him, but he will say: I am not the one. Rather go to Muhammad, a slave whose past and future sins Allah forgave. So they will come to me and I will go with them." - There was a similar report from Hasan who added (the Prophet (saw) said:) And I will walk between two rows of the believers." Then he went back to the Hadith of Anas. - And he said: "And I will ask my Lord for permission and permission will be given to me. When I see Him I will fall down prostrating, and I will be left as long as Allah wills to leave me. Then it will be said: Get up, O Muhammad. Speak, you will be heard; ask, you will be given; intercede, your intercession will be accepted. I will praise Him with praise that He will teach me, then I will intercede, and a limit will be set. Then they will be admitted to Paradise, and I will come back a second time. Then they will be admitted to Paradise, and I will come back a third time. Then they will be admitted to Paradise, and I will come back a fourth time and will say: O Lord, there is no one left except those who are detained by the Quran." **
