Fire departments respond to tobacco barn blaze in CalypsoFire crews with Faison Fire and Rescue helped crews in Calypso put out a tobacco barn fire on the morning of Thursday, May 30, 2024. Duplin County officials tell us that Calypso Fire Department was dispatched to an agriculture barn on fire. Faison Fire along with Mount Olive and Smiths Chapel responded with mutual aid.
