Crafting Indagator gear as a fresh level 90 player can be daunting withmany steps and gear progression to go through before even being ableto craft the Indagator gear itself. This guide will supportyour fresh gearing up as a level 90 player or as a player catching up from amid expansion break.

This guide is focused on helping players catch up on their crafting andgathering gear for endgame content of Final Fantasy XIV eitheras a fresh new level 90 player or as a player who took a break mid expansion.

If you are a player catching up as a fresh level 90 player or your item level is below620 then please start from the beginning of the guide. If you have i620 scripgear, you may want to simply stick with that if you do not plan on craftingfrequently and can follow the melds from our melding guide linked below. To start, we need a lot of Crafter's Scrip, mainly Purple scrip for upgradingour gear, but also White scrip for Master books. There are different ways toget Scrip, but we'll focus on collectibles from the scrip exchange for now and instead use CustomDelivery for your gathering gear and Materia.

To get White Scrips, we'll use the rotation below and concentrate on level89 collectibles for maximum value. You can choose any class based on easy orcheap farming however the craft on ALC is generally popular. This is currentlyonly needed for any masterbooks you still need. Otherwise you can skipstraight to farming purple scrips.

To obtain Purple Scrips, we'll follow the following rotation and focus onlevel 90 collectibles for optimal returns. Any class can be chosen dependingon convenience or especially cost-efficiency, but CUL is typically afavoured option.

If you have higher stats, you may want to use the below macro instead forfarming purple scrips. Or you can spend your first scrips on toolsfor your chosen class to reach higher stats.

You'll need 2100 Purple scrip for armour, 1120 for accessories, 8000 for allMain Hand and Off Hand Tools, and 15500 for Grade X Materia for melding. Check the marketboardfor cheaper Materia if you would like to save a bit of time. Again,save custom deliveries for gathering. After that, complete the following melds:

From there you also need to obtain your meld set for Gathering so that you cangather the necessary items for your crafting needs, consider using customdeliveries as a way to streamline the process. Custom Deliveries allow you toturn in items for scrips, which can be used to purchase the materials you need.You can then easily purchase all the materia and gear that you will need.

For gathering, a full set of unmelded i620 scrip will work perfectly. Once you have the i620 scrip gear mentioned above you will need to startgathering materials for your indagators gear. Some of your materialswill be from legendary nodes, some from tomes and some crafted.

I would advise putting all your gear into a shopping list suchas this set of teamcraft lists of materials. This list is setup to allow you to choose with and without toolsif you wanted to keep your scrip or use the relic tools instead for example.

Some materials still require scrips. You can use these 2 rotations that will workwith the i620 gear you recently upgraded to.

From there once you have all your materials it is time to craft the Indagatorsgear! It is generally much easier to equip your gear once complete so thatyou do not break your rotations by repeatedly changing your stats.

You will need all of the Paldao Lumber, Ilmenite Ingot, Rutilated Quartz,Bayberry Cloth, and Titanoboa Leather to be HQ, but the Zoisite and Alkahestscan be NQ.

The following rotation Requires HQ Tsai tou Vounou and requires at least 3970/3498/520:

From there you simply need to use the following rotation to craft the gearitself. This rotation also requires Tsai tou Vounou and requires at least 3761 CMS and 353CP. You should have no issues with controlbecause of the HQ materials required.
